  • Past Earth Day celebrations
  • In April 2020, UC Davis – led by the Sustainability office in collaboration with other departments across the university – celebrated the 50-year anniversary of Earth Day with Earth Month, a series of events and initiatives beginning April 1 and concluding the last day of the Whole Earth Festival, Sunday, May 10 – Mother’s Day. We shifted events from in person to online in response to the pandemic. In 2021, UC Davis continued this "pandemic tradition" with another round of "virtual" Earth Month events.
