Bonnie Reiss Leading on Climate Fellowships

The Bonnie Reiss Leading on Climate Fellowship merges the Bonnie Reiss Climate Action Fellowship and Global Food Initiative Fellowship into a single program to support climate action and sustainable food efforts across the University of California. Funded by the UC President’s Global Climate Leadership Council (GCLC), these fellowship opportunities aim to engage UC students in shaping the university's sustainability programs.

Goals 

The goals of the fellowship programs are to engage students in actively:

  • Shaping the University’s climate action programs and supporting the University’s aggressive goals for reducing greenhouse gas emissions while creating a more equitable, sustainable, resilient and healthy world.
  • Conducting projects and engagement that support the University’s sustainable food procurement goals and sustainable agricultural practices.
  • Aligning with and supporting the current Global Climate Leadership Council’s priorities and projects, when possible.
