The Campus Advisory Committee on Sustainability, or CACS, seeks the campus community's input on its draft Fossil Fuel-Free Pathway Plan. Register to attend one, or both, open, virtual Town Hall meetings scheduled for November 17 and 18 from 12:10-1:30 p.m.
Background
While UC Davis has taken huge steps toward reducing its greenhouse gas emissions and sourcing renewable energy, there's more work to do. We are now studying how to eliminate most fossil fuel use from our operations.
Last year, Chancellor Gary May directed the preparation of a plan for all of UC Davis, including UC Davis Health, to move away from fossil fuel use in its operations. CACS has now prepared its draft plan and invites the campus community to learn about the findings and offer their feedback.
