Create a Flexible Work Arrangement

Flexible work arrangements potentially can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and overbuilding or over-leasing of built space, as well as create desirable flexibility for employees.

In March 2020, UC Davis rapidly shifted to remote working in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are harvesting lessons from this experience to apply to a post-pandemic workplace, through the Workplace Reimagined effort. Sustainability is one of the strategic considerations, as campus assesses how to extend benefits of flexible work arrangements post-pandemic.
