Reusable Utensil Interest Form
As part of an effort to reduce single-use waste, facilitate waste reduction awareness, and stimulate new sustainable habits in our community,
Sustainability
and
Student Housing and Dining Services
have partnered to distribute over 6,000 stainless steel reusable utensil sets to students, staff, and faculty.
We need your help to get these reusable utensils into the hands of UC Davis campus community members who are committed to changing their habits around single-use plastics. Fill out this form to indicate your interest in getting access to your very own set! This form will also give you an opportunity to connect to several ways to increase your awareness of Sustainability resources and initiatives on campus.
Once you get your reusable utensil set, use the
#WasteFreeUCD
hashtag to show your support for reducing waste on our campus!

The Green Home Office and Green Study Space mini-certification programs are modeled after the Green Workplace program. While the
Green Workplace
certification process is focused on ensuring more sustainable workplace environments for UC Davis employees, the Green Home Office and Green Study Space focus on yoru personal spaces. Green Workplace
The Green Workplace program is a certification program designed specifically to help UC Davis employees identify ways to reduce their impact on the environment. This program recognizes progress toward a more sustainable work space sustainable practices and provides information about achievable steps that will ensure even more progress towards this goal. Labs and offices are both eligible for certification - and we even have a mini-certification program for
certification of your home office or study space
.

The only way to achieve any meaningful waste reduction is for everyone to make an effort. Small choices -
like carrying around your own utensils instead of reaching for a single-use option
- add up to have a big impact.
